Since his debut release in 2008, Phaeleh aka Matt Preston has developed an inimitable style of cinematic electronic music, which floats between the shifting tempos and timbres of dubstep, garage, electronica and house music. Phaeleh’s large catalogue of epic releases have cemented his position as one of the most exciting and consistent producers to emerge from his current hometown, Bristol.

Following on from his last full length ‘Lost Time’ released on his own Undertow label in 2017, Preston returned to the studio to focus on his new album ‘Clarity’ with the aim to avoid the delays and lengthy wait between writing the music and releasing it. Despite the focus on his 20th release he still managed to squeeze in DJ shows across Europe, sold out UK live shows, headline appearances at North American festivals including Infrasound, Solasta and Harvest and supporting Way Out West on their UK tour as well as remixing their track ‘A Sheltered Place’ for Anjunabeats.
